Cyprus Wakesurf Championship
We are the founders and organisers of the Cyprus Wakesurf Championship, an international wakesurfing event held annually in Cyprus, attracting top athletes from around the globe. The competition took place in 2022, 2023 and 2024 in Ayia Napa, featuring many competitors from countries including the UK, Russia, Switzerland, USA, France, Italy, Cyprus, Poland, Germany, Latvia, Lebanon, Ukraine and more.
Organized by Fig Tree bay Wake School under the umbrella of Competitive Wake Surf Association (CWSA). The event is officially recognized by the CWSA and supported by local authorities. It aims to promote Cyprus as a premier destination for wakesurfing and water sports tourism.
The championship features various categories, including:
Professional, Outlaw, Masters, Amateur and Junior
Competitors are judged on the difficulty, execution, intensity and variety of their tricks.
The championship is held in collaboration with Mike’s Watersports and Fig Tree Bay Watersports , leading providers of wakesurfing experiences in Cyprus, based at Konnos Beach and Fig Tree Bay.
